Full Size Storage Bed – Perfect For Your Kid Or Guests

The full size storage bed is becoming an increasingly popular choice.  Originally we were all stuck in the sizes of the previous generations and we had either singles or doubles, however, we have changed over recent years.

The full size bed is a great increase from the twin.  This is an ideal choice for a teenagers room.  Teenagers seem to spend a vast amount of time sprawled out across their beds surrounded by books.  The full size storage bed some how seems to suit them better.

The full size is also a great size for a guest room.  Sometimes there just isn’t enough space in a guest room to place a queen or double bed.  However the full size is a great compromise.  If you have extra kids to stay then you can certainly easily fit a couple in one of these.  It is also a great way for a parent and their baby to sleep.

When my kids were small I always found staying in other peoples houses a little stressful.  I would worry that my kid would keep the rest of the house awake.  A great way to ensure a good nights sleep was to pop a kid in with me.  This is where you fall in love with the full size.  There is easily enough space for mom and baby (I always offer this option to parents of small kids when they come to stay with me now).

If you are going to buy a full sized bed then you should certainly get one with a storage option.  The designers of beds have worked out that those of us who are buying full sized beds often have a space issue and as a result they have created a huge range of these with really practical drawers underneath.

Unlike the original drawers under bed, which were really heavy and awkward to pull out, the modern ones have great rollers and slide out without any effort.  They are a great way to store either long term items such as out of season clothes, or spare bedding.  The drawers are usually quite deep, something often not found in other furniture which we have, so really useful.
